Injuries have an knack of smashing a world apart.
Even when recovering, new challenges are faced due to losses and time out of work.
Remaining focused and identifying goals, finding ways to adapt, is key to getting back on track.
When struggling with the tasks being faced - approach it a thought at a time, a task at a time.
Don't look in one direction for the answer, be open minded and ask, when things are not working out as hoped or expected - Why? What's the message? What is an alternative or add on?
Go with the flow - As a river does around rocks and snags - It'll get there :)

I attended a meeting yesterday and was surprised to hear that an employer and the HR team
has negotiated a contract that disallowed it's workers sick pay if they
were injured whilst participating in dangerous sporting events or
holidays such as skiing. Why would a company penalise an individual for
participating in activities that increase happy hormones and decrease
stress, so improving attendance and productivity? Did they also preclude
individuals from sick pay for illnesses related to smoking, poor
eating habits, high alcohol intake, being underactive and other risk
taking and accepted behaviours?
